Living Word’s Spring Clean Project helps to raise support for local and international student::life mission trips.

Teams of about 10 students and adults will go to homes to work on a wide range of spring cleaning projects. Many people ask us to do mulching, raking, gardening, inside cleaning, car washing, or simple projects around the house. In exchange for our work, we’re accepting donations to help raise funds for our summer mission trips in 2018. Donations of any amount are appreciated. 100% of the donations will go toward the youth trips.

Every little bit goes a long way as these teens embrace this opportunity to reach out to others around the country and around the world.

You can get involved in 3 different ways:

Provide a Job

Provide a job for us to do (like mulching, cleaning, raking, gardening, etc.) In exchange for our work, consider making a donation that will go toward the two student::life mission trips. Each job has a 2-hour maximum time limit with a team of around 10 people. We start at 9:00 am and finish around 5:00 pm. You can invite us to come work at your home and/or bless someone else you know by sending us there. Jobs must be in York county to be considered.

We are currently at our 40 job limit but are accepting Wait List jobs. Unless you receive an email, Wait List jobs will be approved and ‘On Hold’ for the 28th. If we are able to add your job to our active jobs list we will contact you as soon as possible, this may include a call on Saturday, April 28th if we receive last minute cancellations and/or complete our jobs faster than anticipated.

Guatemala Youth Mission Trip | June 23-30

This short-term trip is an ideal opportunity for teens to experience cross-cultural missions that will empower them to take ownership of their faith. We will primarily be serving among the Ixil people and local teens in Nebaj, Guatemala. With various projects planned, including construction, VBS, and leading teen camps, we believe this will be a potential life-changing experience for everyone involved.  This trip is exclusively designed for teenagers; you must be between 14-18 years of age to apply.
