What Motivates You?

That’s my question.

Short. Clear. Direct.

What motivates you? Why did you get out of bed today (assuming you are out of bed)? Why are you engaging the day (assuming you are)? Why bother with doing what you do? What’s the point? What’s the reason? What’s the outcome that keeps you going?

There are good and bad motivations. There are strong and weak motivations. There are altruistic and narcissistic motivations. There are worthy and unworthy motivations.

What motivates you?

When you know this, when you tap into this, when you see the results of this, you’ll stay motivated. Hopefully and prayerfully, your motives are noble, good, true, and worthy of building a life around.

And somewhere in there, if you have the desire to bring God glory in all things, you are on the right track.
