Welcome to GroupSearch!

Looking for a place to belong? Try our new search tool GroupSearch.

GroupSearch is our way to help you quickly find possible growth groups that you could consider joining to get connected at Living Word.

With GroupSearch, you’ll be able to identify possible groups to join with a variety of characteristics: type of group, meeting night, and geographic location. Widen or narrow down your search as you see fit or find matches. Then when you see one you’d like to meet, contact the leader with the link by their name, and an email will be generated for you to send to them. The leader will respond within the next 72 hours as they are able.

Find a group quickly:

  1. Select Search available groups
  2. Select your preferences
  3. Select Search
  4. Select Group Name for details
  5. Select the “Contact Group Leader” button
  6. Fill out your contact info and send message to group leader.

More Info About GroupSearch & Getting Connected

  • What should I know when I visit a group for the first time?

Consider meeting the group one evening to see if they could be a good fit for you. You would be considered a guest that evening for the group members to get to know you, and vice versa. Secure the meeting time and location (and directions) from the leader, and show up to meet the members. You do not have to pay any money or bring anything with you that first evening. Once you become a member, there may be a cost for the study material the group is currently working through (usually a minimal amount). That varies from season to season.

If you like the group you attended, simply let the GG Leader(s) know, and they will contact us and confirm that with us.

If, for whatever reason, you decide the group is not a fit for you, then simply let the GG Leader(s) know that it will not work out at this time. They will then let us know to not add you to the group roster. You can then return to another search or contact the GG office for more assistance.

  • Trying to find a group over the summer?

Many groups pause regular meetings over the summer, so here’s how you can find a group through GroupSearch:

    1. Search for any groups still meeting above
    2. Check out our current opportunities to connect with others here.
    3. If unable to find a group, contact the Growth Group office for more assistance
    4. Look for one of our upcoming Connection Events to meet people and join a group (August/late summer and January).
