Update, 19 June 2023:
Our partner churches are in and around the city of Dnipro, which is a gateway to much of the war in the eastern part of the country. Through our friends Pastor Sergei and Pastor Michienko, we are assisting scores of churches throughout the war zone.
This month a dam in southern Ukraine was blown up and many villages and towns were flooded. Our church partners are providing desperately needed drinking water to many people in the area around Nikopol on the west bank of the Dnipro River.
Since February, 2022 Living Word has provided more than $125,000 and we continue to receive donations. We look forward to the day that we can serve with our brothers and sisters in Christ to begin the rebuilding process in Ukraine.
