
Jennifer Ahlers, MA, LPC, BCPCC, CMNCS
Counselor
Jenn has a Master of Arts in Psychology from Towson University, MD, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board-Certified Professional Christian Counselor (IBCC), Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has provided counseling in outpatient, inpatient, and private practice settings for groups, individuals, and families, in addition to offering case management and crisis counseling. She currently works with adolescents and adults, addressing their mental, relational, physical, and spiritual health.
Jenn’s primary clinical therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral, utilizing treatment modalities that meet the individual’s needs. Jenn believes that therapy is a vehicle for God’s work to heal and create change, while relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the counseling process.
After moving from Maryland, Jenn has been attending Living Word since July 2014 with her husband and two school-age children.
