Missy earned her Master of Science Degree in Counselor Education from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. In both her career and in her volunteer work, Missy has provided supportive counseling in the public-school setting and in the church.  Since 2010, Missy has offered Christian Counseling for adolescents, adults, and couples, who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, and relational issues in their lives. Missy received her certifications as a Board-Certified Christian Counselor and Mental Health Coach through IBCC, in addition to the Prepare and Enrich Certification for Premarital and Marital Assessments.  
 
Missy’s personal faith journey has shaped her counseling as she utilizes a God-centered approach, applying the Word of God to encourage the development of spiritual maturity and relational healing.
 
Missy is married to Dan, has two adult children, and has attended Living Word with her family since 2000.
