Erick Bjorum, BS, CADC, BCCC
Counselor
Erick received his Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from York College, PA and is a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. He has worked in the addiction field since 1994, most recently for the Baltimore County Health Department, and participates in extensive addiction education. Erick received his Prepare and Enrich Certification to conduct Premarital and Marital Assessments, is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and is a Board Certified Christian Counselor through IBCC.
Erick’s faith in Christ is foundational to his counseling. He utilizes an eclectic approach of cognitive, behavioral, and motivational techniques, in addition to relying on Jesus as the Wonderful Counselor.
Erick has been married to his awesome wife, Cheryl, since 2000. Together they have three children, three granddaughters, four cats, and one dog. They enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and offering the gift of service to others. They were introduced to Living Word in the summer of 1994 and have attended faithfully since the spring of 1996.
