HOW CAN I KEEP A RECORD OF THE AMOUNT I HAVE CONTRIBUTED?
Giving history can be viewed any time by logging into your Connections account and viewing your transactions. Here you can access all giving history, including online gifts and gifts by check or cash. Annual giving statements will be mailed before the end of January to the address listed on your profile.
You can also generate your own giving statement at any time by selecting the Financial tab in the middle of the screen. Then, in the printable statement section, click Giving Statement. Next, you will be given a list of options to customize your giving statement. Click Run Report to generate your printable PDF giving statement.

ARE GIFTS TO LWCC DEDUCTIBLE FOR TAX PURPOSES?
Yes. LWCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so contributions to LWCC are deductible if you itemize on your tax return.
WHAT IS ONLINE GIVING?
Online giving is the ability to give a donation or schedule a series of donations using your debit card, credit card, or bank account. We have partnered with Subsplash to improve your giving experience through a new platform and interface.

HOW DOES SUBSPLASH PROTECT MY DATA?
Subsplash is committed to protecting your consumer credit card data in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Their Level 1 PCI compliance is attested to annually by a PCI Qualified Security Assessor and their secure gateway is PCI Level 1, SOC1, and SSAE 16 compliant.
ARE THERE ANY FEES INVOLVED WITH GIVING ONLINE?
No. You will not pay any fees with an online gift. Living Word pays all associated fees from our operating budget. You will receive credit for 100% of your gift. We encourage you to give through your bank account rather than through a debit or credit card, as the church incurs higher processing fees for debit and credit card transactions.
With our new giving platform, Subsplash we will have lower processing fees per gift. Please consider using this platform instead of Connections.
If we want to help people get out of debt, why does Living Word accept credit card donations?
Used within the parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, and then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising this option.

If you already have a recurring gift set up in Connections, you will want to cancel this gift first and set up your new recurring gift with Subsplash online or on the mobile app. Once in Subsplash, enter the amount for your gift, choose one of the following for the frequency: one-time, weekly, monthly, every two weeks, or twice a month. Next, click on the date if you want the gift to start on a date other than the current date.

CAN I GIVE NON-CASH ASSETS?
Yes. This is a creative option to give away items that you no longer need and use them for the Kingdom of God. Living Word Community Church has partnered with the National Christian Foundation (NCF) to administer the receipt of asset-based gifts (e.g., marketable securities, real estate, business interests) and disburse the proceeds to Living Word.
