Member Vote

Members of Living Word are invited to vote on two items:

• To affirm the adoption of our updated Bylaws 
• To affirm each of the five Board of Director nominees 

Over the past year, the Board has conducted a comprehensive review of Living Word's governing documents. The proposed revisions aim to improve clarity, organization, and readability while preserving the biblical governance principles and core structures that have guided our church for nearly 50 years. Before voting, the board is encouraging all members to review the current and proposed bylaws found below. A summary highlighting the key revisions is also provided below. 

The Board is also recommending five Director nominees for second terms. Each nominee is currently serving as a Director and has contributed significantly to the effectiveness, unity, and productivity of the Board. Because the Board is functioning well and providing strong leadership to Living Word, the Board unanimously recommends affirming all five nominees. 

Members will have two options to vote:

• Text the word VOTE to 866 933 2373 beginning Friday, November 6 at 7:00 am to Sunday, November 8 at 7:00 pm. 
• In person Sunday, November 8, from 9:00 am to 12:45 pm in the main lobby
