Pamela M. Ammons, MA, BCCC
Counselor
Pamela has a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is also endorsed as a Chaplain by the SBC North American Mission Board after completing her Chaplain Residency at Geisinger Hospital in 2015. Pamela has worked in the Mental Health field since 2015 and earned a Trauma-Competent Professional Certification from Lakeside Global Institute in 2021. She is also a Board-Certified Christian Counselor. In addition to working with The Counseling Center, Pamela works as Bilingual (Spanish) Family-Based Therapist for Philhaven Behavioral Health and as a Mental Health Therapist at Wellspan Hospital.
Pam’s Christian journey began as a teenager and continued as a missionary with SBC for three decades. Pam has a heart for families; helping them find their joy and hope in the Lord.
Pam lives in York with her husband, Chris of 45 years. They attend and work with Iglesia La Fuente in Harrisburg, PA. They have two grown children and four awesome grandchildren.
